I first heard this song when my Okinawan friend sang it for me and it reduced me to tears. Since then I have wanted to record it someday. As well as music from China and Korea, I really wanted to include some music with an Okinawan background on “yellow”. Dave gave it a beautiful, pretty and gentle arrangement. The recording was done in a studio in a converted old church in Bristol. Dave arranged everything for us himself.
