ルイにアレンジをお願いするときに、私が送ったテープには、メトロノームの音と、それに合わせて歌う私の声だけしか入っていなかった。私は、静かな悲しい感じの曲だと思っていたんだけど、彼曰く、メロディーがリズムを呼んでいたんだそうだ。「コードも付けないデモを送ってくるなんて、全く…」と最初は言っていたけど、「コードを付けて渡したとしても、きっと変えちゃうでしょ」と言ったら本人も笑っていた。

When I asked Louis to arrange this song, I sent him a tape with metronome and my vocal only. I thought the song was sad and quiet, but he said it was calling for a strong rhythm. At first he said “what were you thinking to send a demo without any chords on it…”, but he laughed when I said “even if I added any chords, I knew you would change them all anyway”.
